New digital product would provide listings of Pet Services based upon the customer’s address; similar to Health Care “Provider Finder” products.
Indicators:
What is Pet Services?
NAICS 812910 includes Grooming, Boarding, Training, and Pet Setting.
From 2007 ending 2017, sales of pet care services, doubled, to a total of $5.8 billion, according to the latest Economic Census statistics
111% increase in pet care employees; growing business itself.
Outcome Hypothesis:
Why is this a good idea?
Just like with current human medical incentives, keep pets out of “urgent care”, and vet hospitals as much as possible to keep expenses low.
Leverage current AI platform, can develop new digital product as a Pet Services finder that would provide customers with list of providers.
In addition to “Annual Routine Care”, Pet Services will provide services not offered by a Vet. This will give us a “Healthy” and “Happy” pet.
If expected results (+20%) in services occur during this pilot, then expand into Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and nationwide there after.
